On July 1st, 2023, we had a great time at AIJC! I got to be a part of the AIJC skating gala, a show where we get the chance to skate in front of an audience, present the work we achieved during the skating season and impersonating different characters from movies, series and much more. It’s just like when you watch your favorite characters dance in movies, but this time on the ice!
Okay, so picture this: I got to pretend to be a character named Sandy from the really famous movie called Grease. I got to dance and skate to some of the songs, and it felt like I was in the movie myself! I twirled and glided on the ice, and the music made my heart race with excitement. The best part? The crowd, all the people watching, clapped and cheered for me, and it made me feel like a superstar.
But that’s not all – I was also part of a super colorful and energetic group performance. We did this special dance style called Bollywood, which is like a big, joyful party on ice. Imagine us all moving and swaying together, with big smiles on our faces, creating a magical picture on the ice. It was like we were telling a story with our skates, and the audience loved it! Everyone was so happy, and the whole skating gala was a big hit. It felt like a dream come true, and I’ll never forget the fun I had with my friends on the ice that day!
